What is the US customs law on portable medical equipment? - portable luggage wheels
I take 1 piece with an oxygen cylinder 0-8 cylinder M6 style controller, click the LPM. This is an empty vessel. Can I check my luggage? I am traveling to the Phillies.

Customs need not worry - is the Security Administration (TSA), which it regulates. Normally, the necessary medical equipment on board the aircraft will be allowed, but since we are talking about an oxygen tank (which can be highly flammable) I'm not 100% sure that they are caught. The best thing to do is check the TSA Web site (http://www.tsa.gov/)
Here is the website of the traveling U.S. Transportation Security Administration have special medical needs. http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/s ... Specifically: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/s ... For oxygen and medical equipment are respiratory related.
In addition to the TSA, you should move the airline you are. Some airlines will not let you take oxygen on board .... even an empty bottle could be problems with some airlines. Again, you get from your company ... The rules will vary from one airline to another.
